Butterfield Country Club

The Butterfield Country Club has invited Sequoia to perform numerous projects over the past several years. One of the most recent projects is the Pub and Patio renovation. The goal of this project was to replace the outdated pub area and patio to provide a more welcoming and inviting space for members and their guests. The Pub renovation included the large pub area, two service rooms, and a private wine room.

Stolp Island Social

Stolp Island Social is an Amy Morton restaurant located near the Aurora Arts Center by the Paramount Theater in downtown Aurora, IL. Amy is the daughter of Arnie Morton of the famous Morton's Steakhouse. The restaurant features a large centralized bar and seating for over 100 patrons in the dining and banquet areas. The construction was completed in fourteen (14) weeks which included an entirely new Kitchen, Multi-Use Restrooms, Lounge, Bar, and Dining Areas.

Big Star Mariscos

This 5,312 square foot single story building, with a raised roof area and partial basement, was the base for an interior restaurant build-out and exterior renovation. The project began with a complete interior demolition and a removal of the existing storefront system. From there, many updates were made to the underground piping, electrical panels/distribution, HVAC units, kitchen layout, and make-up air units. We also furnished and installed new exterior architectural features such as steel and exterior aluminum sunscreen, planter boxes, and exterior cafe seating surrounding the entire north side of the building.

302 South

A taste you will love! 302 Wheaton opened their second location, 302 South! Located at 401 Town Square Wheaton, IL 60189.

Sequoia was chosen to make 302's second location come to life. Improvements were made to this retail space to transform it into a restaurant. The goal of the renovation was to create a new dining area with two overhead doors that open up to the patio area, bar, walk up window and kitchen area.

Art History Brewing

Art History Brewing is a microbrewery located in Geneva, IL. The existing industrial space was transformed with updated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The MEP work included new electrical panels, upsizing the gas meter, installing a new gas line, upgrading underground plumbing and connecting the water main line, and updating the fire alarm and sprinkler systems. The existing warehouse, offices, and restrooms were remodeled. Four reinforced equipment pads with trench drains, a boiler room, and a grain cracking room were also added to the warehouse.

Sturdy Shelter Brewing

The Sturdy Shelter Brewing buildout started with demolition of the existing office space to make way for a brewery and widespread taproom. The 5,994 SF interior includes a 1st floor and mezzanine. A full bar, tap room, lounge, and river room make up the first floor; each space having its own cozy environment and charm. A new interior steel stairway with reclaimed wood stair treads leads up to the mezzanine which was converted into a scenic overlook with views of the Fox River. The 700 SF brew house was constructed using salvaged cedar beams and glass salvaged from the office demolition. The exterior was updated with painting, an overhead door for brewery deliveries, and a new dumpster enclosure.
