Sequoia combined historic and modern to this 100 year old building in downtown Naperville. The building was expanded from 5,000 SF to just over 12,000 SF to a state of the art restaurant. The addition consists of 12 foot deep basement with three stories of precast wall and floor construction. The facility has two kitchens, main dining area, banquet room, elevator, two dumbwaiters, and an outdoor veranda located on the roof of the old building. The addition was built from lot line to lot line. This took precise coordination with the neighbors, general public, and the City of Naperville. Winner of the 2007 PCI Design Award.
